A postdoc position is available in Dr. Ye Zhang’s lab at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) to study glia biology in health and disease. The postdoctoral fellow will investigate glia-glia interactions and/or glia development using mouse models and primary cell cultures (click here to see details). Candidates should have a strong background in neurobiology, developmental biology, cell biology, or molecular biology. A technician position is available in the Zhang lab. Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in biology or related fields are encouraged to apply. The responsibilities include assisting postdoctoral fellows and graduate students in their research projects on glial biology by performing experiments such as immunohistochemistry, imaging, and genotyping.
